An unfortunate incident just took place at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California, United States. A trained gunman approached an outdoor dining area at the YouTube headquarters when it was lunchtime. 4 people were shot, out of which one was found dead.
The YouTube employees were the first to break the story who started tweeting about the unfortunate incident.
Active shooter at YouTube HQ. Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk. Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers.

One of the employees tweeted:
We were sitting in a meeting and then we heard people running because it was rumbling the floor. First thought was an earthquake. I looked down and saw blood drips on the floor and stairs. Peeked around for threats and then we headed downstairs and out the front.
What is pretty unique in this case is that the suspect who has probably created all the fuss was a woman. The suicide attacker injured multiple people around the cafeteria before shooting herself.
Those who are left with severe wounds include a 36-year-old male in critical condition, a 32-year-old woman in serious condition, and a 27-year-old woman in fair condition. The fourth victim had a twisted ankle, which was quickly treated at the Kaiser Permanente South San Francisco Medical Center.
San Bruno’s Police have released a press release for the incident:
San Bruno Police arrived on scene at 12:48 pm, two minutes after the first call, and immediately began searching for a possible suspect. Arriving officers encountered numerous employees fleeing the building. Officers encountered one victim with an apparent gunshot wound to a lower extremity at the front of the building.
