In MWC 2017, Sony showed off, its new experimental product Xperia Touch. It is an Android projector which will make every surface into a touch surface.

It is on you that this product will be a success or not. Here are some features and specs of the device. According to the company, the Sony Xperia Touch comes in the category of the personal computing space but it is coming with the very large cost. So how will it go?

How does it work?

The Xperia Touch can also be defined as an ultrashort throw laser projector. To make some surface temporary, it will throw the beams on the flat surface and then it will use cameras to deduct your interact with that surface .e.g turning any table top to the touch surface. This device sounds so cool and interesting.

the Xperia Touch has built-in speakers and is portable due to small size. You can take it to anywhere, it’s like a CPU and weighs about 2.1 pounds only. It can detect surface both a horizontal and vertical surface with a size of up to 80 inches. But when size is this much, the device lost its working. Sony said it is working to improve the device and remove this device.

The Xperia Touch has featured with Google Android Nougat 7.0 software and contain 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and there is the slot for the removable storage or a microSD card slot for removable storage. It also supports 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC and you can find HDMI and USB Type-C ports. The only problem is the cost. The Sony Xperia Touch will cost a fortune. It will launch in some selected countries with the cost of €1499 ($1591) in this spring.
