Yesterday in MicrosoftEDU event, the Microsoft introduces its new products for the education sector. According to the report, Soon the company will rename the Windows store in Windows 10 to Microsoft Store.
Microsoft updated the documents of the Windows Store for the business and educational sectors. In the updated documents the “Windows Store” name replaced with “Microsoft Store”.
“Welcome to the Microsoft Store for Business and Education! You can use Microsoft Store to find, acquire, distribute, and manage apps for your organization or school. You can also work with developers to create line-of-business apps that are only available to your organization. IT admins can sign up for the Microsoft Store for Business and Education, and get started working with apps,” one of the documentation pages reads.
Microsoft introducing the products and software that are not necessarily for the Windows 10, that may be one of the reasons the tech giant replacing Windows Store to the Microsoft Store.
Microsoft is selling the testing Office 365 subscriptions through the Windows store. By renaming or changing the Windows store to Microsoft Store, there will be the offer to attract the more customers and opportunity to buy the different products of the Microsoft.
According to the report, the Microsoft’s business and the educational customers are encouraged to buy the products on a single website. Actually, the company is merging the Microsoftstore.com with the Windows Store on the web as https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/b/home. In another way, the user can buy the Surface products and the Windows products on the same website.
