Windows 10 is Microsoft’s latest version of the desktop OS and it has outgrown its predecessors with its latest features and lightweight. At the start of 2017, the UK took lead in becoming the first region of the world with more Windows 10 PCs than those with Windows 7. Now in February 2018, Microsoft claims that Windows 10 has outnumbered Windows 7 worldwide. Reason? It’s easy to use interface and regular software support.
Speaking of the figures, StatCounter’s analysts claim that Windows 10 stands at 42.78 percent market share in January 2018 which is nearly 1 percent more than the Windows 7 users which are 41.86 percent worldwide. At the third position, Windows 8.1 stands at 8.72 percent with its least demand.
If you are wondering if Windows XP is still in the game or has gone completely extinct, it is actually still running in 3.36 percent of the world’s computers which shows that people even prefer it over the latest Operating Systems.
