American transportation network company Uber establish a support center in the biggest city of Brazil’s on Tuesday . The company plans to invest $62 million and that will create 2,000 new jobs opportunity in the country , emphasizing an impressive growth strategy in Brazil .
The support center is set up in Sao Paulo and its expected to employ 7000 people by the end of this year. The Uber tech support is providing its service for more than 9 million user along with drivers in Brazil.
The company official said in a statement.
“Our goal is to improve technical support for users as well as for driver partners all over Brazil. 24-hour support, which analyzes [requests] on a case by case basis, will continue to be carried out through the app,”
The Investment news come just week after a Chinese Didi Chuxing the world’s largest ride-sharing company, announce to invest more than $100 million in Brazilian São Paulo based firm 99 .
The investment in the Brazilian company also incorporate private firm like Riverwood Capital, Tiger Global, Monashees Capital and Qualcomm Ventures.
In order to become the biggest transport company in the country, 99 plans to invest and improve the technology and it tend to double its IT develepoment team : Didi will aslo share its “data-driven algorithmic capabilities”
