If you remember the Level 20 case by Thermaltake which was recently revealed at the CES 2018, we have an update for you. Thermaltake is adding two new variants in the series dubbed as the Level 20 XT and the Level 20 VT.

A Unique Pattern

Speaking of the design pattern, both the cases are cubical in shape and on the inside, their motherboard trays are placed along the plane of the base. This caught our eye because usually the trays are placed perpendicular to the base.

Form Factor

For the Level 20 XT chipset, an ATX motherboard looks suitable while the Level 20 VT is designed for micro-ATX size. However, tempered glass panels on all sides except the rear and bottom, are a part of both the cases.

The space inside the case is managed by a “T-shaped” partition and here’s how the components are placed:

  • The top compartment houses the motherboard tray
  • The bottom two are housing the drive cages and the PSU bays
  • Both of them include at least one 140 mm front intake fan with RGB LED lighting

The added advantage for the Level 20 XT, in this case, is that it has two such 140 mm intakes. Also, it gives you up to 9 drive bays.

On the other hand, the Level 20 VT only has one of the 140 mm front intake with six drive bays. For the front-mounted ports, Thermaltake has made it sure that both the cases are equipped with modern connectivity I/O options.
