Netflix has come up with a brand-new blood-stained trailer for the highly anticipated Castlevania series. The trailer has come right in time as it teases the second season to be released this October.
The Castlevania series was released onto Netflix last year in July. As the name clearly shows, the title is based on the famous video game series of past, Castlevania. Interestingly, the first title dates back to 1986 on the then Nintendo Entertainment System. Although it was hit season, it lasted only 4 episodes which caused fans to feel prematurely cut off from the story.
The producers are well aware of this problem and they are releasing 8 episodes in total for the Castlevania season 2. Here’s what Warren Ellis the writer and Sam Deats the director for the show said about it:
Returning to Netflix for a second season, Castlevania, inspired by the classic video game series, is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes himself. Trevor Belmont, the last survivor of his house, is no longer alone, and he and his misfit comrades race to find a way to save humanity from extinction at the hands of the grief-maddened Dracula and his sinister vampire war council.
The Castlevania season 2 is releasing on October 26th for the Netflix users.
