Apple CEO Tim Cook talks about the augmented reality and its applications. Officially the Apple announced that they introduce the ARKit in recent release iOS 11. Apple says the iOS 11 version has potential for the practically performance of the AR that is much better than the other. According to report, Tim Cook revealed the news about the AR technology, he says work for the AR technology and highlights many aspects.
The CEO says that the AR technology will responsible for the transformation of everything including shopping to fashion industry. Many of the companies already working on the AR technology and making products and working on the awareness of the AR technology. IKEA is one of the example that is developing some of the products that allows you to identify good looking piece of furniture. Cook stated as:
“It will also take some time before we’ll be able to scan and identify other women’s coats on our phones. Cook says the company has no plans to build the giant database of clothes, shoes and other goods that would make it possible. But Apple does plan to support companies who might embark on such an endeavour, he said. ‘We don’t have a plan to collect all of these objects, but I know companies who are working on that for their products,” Cook said. “If you think about companies that offer a fair number of shoes, and [if a customer] sees a shoe and goes I want that one, you just want to point and [buy]. That will be a part of the shopping experience of the future, it absolutely will.’”
