The question in the title can be quite interesting for many of you while it may not bother at all to some of you. If you have an intriguing nature, this survey might be pretty helpful for you. Neumob conducted the survey asking around 1000 Americans about how many apps do they have on their smartphone. People aged between 18 – 64 took participation in the survey and answered that they have apps ranging between 6 to 15. This figure is not stagnant rather apps keep on rotating.
People Delete The Apps Which Are Slow
The pre-loaded apps that come with a phone are not included in this survey. An interesting fact which needs to be kept in mind that people usually delete the apps which start slowing down. One of the biggest factors which can simply turn you away from even a good-looking app is the speed factor. Developers should note this down that if an app seems slow and cumbersome to respond, it gets thrown out immediately.
This competition between the survival of the apps is tougher than you think it is. A study done by Aptelligent shows some mind blowing facts. The study asked the users that how much loading time is acceptable for an app to start. The average answer was “2 seconds or even less than that.” This tough competition is mainly due to the flood of android apps coming in. If a developer wants his/her app to compete, the processing speed of the app has to be the fastest.
The study has another interesting side which shows that the iPhone is mostly loved by the younger generation below 25 years of age. People above 25, voted for Android as their favorite choice.
Study Is Based On A Sampling Data
As we told you earlier, this survey consisted of 1000 people which shows that this is just a sampling data. The reports cannot be taken as a standard or absolute answers hence sit back, relax and enjoy the world!
