The launch of the next Galaxy phone is just around the corner. As Samsung recently confirmed the launch of Galaxy S9 to be held next month at Mobile World Congress 2018. Some specification of the Samsung Galaxy S9 were also leaked via its alleged leaked retail box. Where the Galaxy S9 will mostly have everything that the current Galaxy S8 have, with a few interesting additions.
Among the new additions is a Dual Pixel 12MP camera. Which is basically a camera with variable aperture, something that we haven’t seen for a while. According to the leaked retail box picture, the Samsung Galaxy S9 Dual Pixel will have two apertures including G/1.5 and F/2.4. Aside from that the upcoming Galaxy S9 will also have support for super slow motion video capture. That according to some rumors should allow the Galaxy S9 to record videos at a staggering 1000FPS.
The leaked retail box picture also mentions stereo speakers this time around. That will be tweaked by AKG, including the earphones as well. Implementation of a stereo speaker seems unlikely, judging from how thin the Galaxy S9 look in its leaked renders. But the possibility is there if Samsung decides to use the earpiece as a secondary speaker.
In terms of specs the Samsung Galaxy S9 will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 process. Which should make it the first to be powered by the new SOC. Aside from that the Galaxy S9 will mostly have similar specs to its predecessor. Which includes a Super AMOLED display, 4GB RAM and 64GB of on board storage. There will also be an 8MP camera present at the front of the phone.
The upcoming Galaxy S9 from Samsung is shaping up to be a great phone. Which improves upon a lot of faults that the current Galaxy S8 comes with, including a re-positioned fingerprint sensor in the middle this time.
