We might finally see LG adopt a new display technology on their upcoming smartphone. Other companies have already done it, Samsung being one of them. Where both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, comes equipped with an OLED display. While LG is still using IPS LCD technology seen on their current flagship smartphone the LG G6. Where according to certain rumors LG might include an OLED display on their upcoming LG V30 smartphone. That is also rumored to get announced in the third quarter of this year.

Rumors also suggest that that the LG V30 will be carrying all the latest specs. That will include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM. Though it would have been nice if LG waited a little longer. So that the owner of LG G6, could also get their hands on the new 10nm FinFET SOC from Qualcomm. Aside from that the upcoming LG V30 is said to come with the same display layout as the LG G6. Where the smartphone will come with a 21:9 aspect ratio. This would also make the LG V30 smaller in size, because the current LG V20 is not a comfortable smartphone to carry.
