With so many smartphone manufacturers competing in the market. It’s hard to differentiate between them because of the similar set of specs and features that they offer. Though it’s always good to see something new that is unique in every other way. Razer is trying to do just that with its recently launched Android smartphone named Razer Phone. That like all its other products is also designed for gamers.

In terms of specs the Razer Phone comes equipped with a 5.7 inch display. That support a resolution of QHD with a 120Hz refresh rate. Meaning that the animations on the Razer Phone are quick and buttery smooth. There is also the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 running under the hood. That is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable on board storage.

Users would also find a set of dual cameras on the back of the Razer Phone. That consists a pair of 12MP cameras, while the front the Razer Phone comes equipped with an 8MP camera. Where to power it all the Razer Phone is equipped with a 4000mAh battery. That should last its users a whole day of heavy usage, keeping in mind that the phone is designed for gaming.

Being a smartphone that is designed for gaming Razer Phone does not come equipped with a headphone jack. Though users will be provided with a USB Type C to 3.5mm headphone jack converter in the box. Aside from that the smartphone also comes with dual front facing speakers. That does sound well with support for Dolby ATMOS audio.

Overall the Razer Phone is a great offering from the company. That comes with all the latest specs that the market have to offer. Though all of that does come with a hefty price tag as expected from Razer. But even then the smartphone is being priced reasonable in my opinion at $699. Considering what other smartphones with the same specs cost.
