Being a new addition Asus didn’t create a lot of hype about their new Predator Z35 gaming monitor. But if you are someone who enjoys large curved displays. Then the new Asus Predator Z35 would be a great addition on your table. In terms of specs the Asus Predator Z35 comes equipped with a 35 inch display. That supports a resolution of 3440 x 1440 with a 1800R curvature. Aside from that the Asus Predator Z35 also supports a 100Hz refresh rate. Which can be overclocked if needed to 120Hz refresh rate. Though it’s not mentioned on the website but according to TFT Central the overclock is achievable.
The Acer Predator Z35 provides other benefits as well. Such as a maximum brightness of 300 nits with a 2500:1 contrast ratio. Aside from that the Asus Predator Z35 also supports G-Sync for those of you who own a NVIDIA graphics card with a 4ms response time.
With the new Acer Predator Z35 users also get a lot of ergonomic advantages. Where the monitor can be height adjusted up to 5.12 inches. While swivel and tilt can also be done. With a 20 degrees swivel and a 35 degrees tilt adjustment. Users also have an option to attach their PC to the monitor via a 3.5mm audio jack. Which will provide them with a set of two 95W stereo speakers.
In terms of ports the Acer Predator Z35 comes with a single DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and four USB 3.0 Ports. The Acer Predator Z35 being a good gaming monitor does not come cheap though. Where Amazon has started accepting preorders, with a price tag of $1100.
