MSI, the leading name in the production of computer hardware, is said to be producing two new gaming displays, belonging to the Optix MPG series. Both the displays are said to have a 27-inch panel and 144Hz resolution.

Optix MPG27C spec m MSI to unveil its two new 27 inch screens, MPG27CQ and MPG27C   Both the screens are said to have a refresh rate of 144Hz



Speaking of the features of these two displays, we’ll get to see a 1080p resolution in the MSI Optix MPG27C and 1440p in the MPGH27CQ. Also, both the screens will have a 1ms response time at a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.

The MPG27CQ is said to have:

  • 400 nits
  • 2 x HDMI 2.0 ports
  • Full USB 3.1 connectivity

Whereas, the MPG27C will sport:

  • 250 nits
  • 2 x HDMI 1.4 ports
  • USB 2.0 + USB 3.1 connectivity

The two displays will be rolled out in a partnership with the SteelSeries for which the MSI President Joseph Hsu has said:

The integration of SteelSeries Engine with the Optix MPG Series Curved Gaming Monitors brings PrismSync Illumination and real-time game alerts which offer an even greater level of immersive gameplay. MSI and SteelSeries are delivering a truly immersive experience to gamers.

On the other hand, Ehtisham Rabbani who happens to be the head of SteelSeries has said:

SteelSeries is proud of the strong partnership that we continue to build with MSI and we are excited to bring the gaming community new types of immersive technology like this.
