That’s what they call the truck and according to Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas, the pre-orders have been doing extremely well. A whopping figure of confirmed 1230 pre-orders is in place which is a huge number keeping in mind the new concept from which people normally hesitate. In a note dug by Business Insider, Jonas said:

The game-changing capabilities and economics of the Tesla semi potentially set off separation between the technology leaders and the laggards among carriers, shippers, truck OEMs, and suppliers.

The companies that have placed the pre-orders include big names like:

Pepsi is currently, the biggest seeker of the product with up to 100 new Tesla Semi pre-orders. UPS has demanded 125 new Tesla Semi trucks while Walmart stands at 15. UPS CIO Juan Perez said in a press release:
