Tesla is known for its amazing  Easter eggs-hidden software updates. This year the latest software 8.0.2 pleasantly surprised the car owners with two doozies.

The first Easter egg, designed for the Model X electric SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle), turns out to be a holiday spirit beautified through a light show that the vehicle plays.

To activate the fun, Model X owners have to press and hold the Tesla Motors icon at the vehicle’s screen and then to enter the code “holiday” in the passcode screen. The electric SUV will open its Falcon Wing doors and start the light show by turning its headlights, fog lights, turn indicators and other exterior lights on, added by an awesome number of music.

The second Easter egg, designed for both the Models S and the  X, will change the vehicles into spacecrafts ready to leave for Mars.

To activate the feature, the car owners have to type ‘mars’ in the access code. Resultantly, the in-car map will be changed into the map of Mars.

It will give the driver an impression as if the car is being driven over interplanetary terrain designed by Interplanetary Transport System of SpaceX, which is a space exploration company owned by Tesla Motors.
