Sumo Digital was interviewed by Wccftech and they were talking about all kinds of things related to Xbox. They mentioned the work they have done with the latest game Crackdown 3 which is coming to both Xbox One and Xbox One X. They also did talk about optimization and Xbox One X capabilities. They have also said that they got 15000 props simultaneous props moving around in Crackdown 3 and Xbox One X just eats them for breakfast. They also said that:
You can just go and go and go with it. Once we start making games that are optimized for that platform, it’s going to be badass. I don’t mind saying that it’s significantly more powerful than the PlayStation 4 Pro, and we’ve worked with PS4 Pro. It’s way more powerful. It’s a night and day difference.
It seems developers hasn’t really starting optimizing their games for Xbox One X yet and that seems to be the case with Crackdown 3. It looks like the game at least in this stage is not taking full advantage of Xbox One X but what they actually referring to is that it’s super easy to port and even without any sort of optimization you can run anything in native 4k in this particular case. Because Crackdown 3 is going to be running in native 4k on Xbox One in 30 Frames Per Second.
Number of developers like code masters, Path of Exile and couple of others that were saying that it took them very short time to pull the game from PC to Xbox One X and then the game just runs right away in native 4k without any optimization.
