Star Wars Battlefront 2 will look good on Xbox Scorpio at Native 4K/60 Frames per second

Today we would like to talked about the Xbox Scorpio graphical and performance capabilities. The rumors are that Scorpio will be capable of Star Wars Battlefront 2 in Native 4K at 60 Frames per second. This information is actually a courtesy of Jez Corden.

Jez Corden is actually one of the editor at WindowsCentral. He has a good record of releasing true information. Just recently somebody argued with him a little bit about Scorpio capability and the price, and in response he said:

I already know Battlefront II will run and look better on Scorpio than the VAST majority of PCs on Steam, native 4K @ 60 FPS.

If that’s true it’s going to be a big thing and not necessarily because it’s a 4k and 60 FPS game but just because the sheer amount of power required for running and pushing so many pixels. 60 FPS required a lot of power and performance.

During the DigitalFoundry interview, it was said by one of the engineers that they are aiming to actually run all 1080p and 900p Xbox One games in native 4k on Scorpio at the very same framerate.

E3 is just around the corner and we will find out soon enough and obviously apart from resolution, better textures and higher specs and stuff. We are rally looking forward to Scorpio and what sort of 3rd party games Microsoft will come up with. Because at the end of the day it’s all about games, performance and that is all it’s all about.
