With the announcement of Snapdragon 821 in LG G6, a wave of disappointment passed through the fans who were expecting the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 in the phone. Due to Samsung’s bid on the Snapdragon 835, the Korean tech giant was the first one to introduce the latest technology. Also, this became one of the key features among the people to decide between two of the latest flagship offerings despite the huge price difference.
To check which of the processor among Snapdragon 821 and 835 is really fast and does it really make a difference having an SD835 in your phone, a speed test video shows some shocking results.
The results show that your stereotyped opinions may be a bit different than the reality. The test performer performed the test in two ways.
- Opening resource hungry daily usage apps like Instagram, Android Forums, Twitter, Pokemon GO, and Gentleman Ninja after keeping the phone ON all day long
- Opening the same apps after giving the devices a fresh reboot
After the tests, one may conclude that Samsung due to its latest technology processor, is quick in opening apps but it takes more time to start the loading process. Also, Samsung passed the second test by loading the apps quicker than Samsung after the reboot. On the test conducted after all day usage, both the phones were throttled at almost the same speed.
