If you’ve been following SOMA, the underwater horror adventure you’d probably know that its Safe Mode was released some 2 or 3 months ago for the desktop players. The mode was loved by all the players and it was demanded in the PS4 too, which is now going to be fulfilled.
Safe Mode is basically an easier option for the beginner-level players to play the game with ease. This mode was released when the players who were impressed with the content quality, complained about the difficult and overwhelming gameplay.
Speaking of what changes were brought in the Safe Mode, there’s a long list. For example, the curious game monsters were changed into immediate attackers. This may sound vague but it is still good for the players who want to enjoy the content without getting killed in quick successions. According to the developers:
Monsters might sound and act more threatening if they spot you, so there is still an incentive to being careful, but it’s no longer mandatory to keep hidden.
