The 43-year young Executive Producer of Monolith, Michael Forgey just died by the hands of cancer and its a sad news for the gaming industry. The awe-inspiring game, Shadow of War has modeled a special DLC character after him. The Shadow of War can be unlocked by proceeding from buying Forthog the Orc-Slayer.

DLC In The Name Of Forgey

The production studios have decided to name this DLC after the late Micheal Forgey. Interestingly, the title for the DLC has been composed by the staff of Monolith. The song was written by Forgey himself and even performed by him in his life. The trailer came out recently showing the staff members paying tribute to Forgey and what he stood for. The Director of Art, Phil Straub says:

He’s basically heading off to the promised land. He’s embracing that.

The Monolith staff has shown great affection towards the family of late Forgey as they have banded with WB Games to treat the family as their own. The staff has decided to donate $3.50 from every purchase to the family until 31st December 2019.

Speaking of the gameplay, the Forthog is named as “Mysterious Saviour” in this game and if you remember the Fallout series, this character proceeds in a very similar manner by keeping his identity secret.

The pre-orders for Forthog Orc-Slayer DLC can be placed on Steam store and Xbox One. For PS4 users, the game will be out on October 10th.
