Samsung vice president Lee Jae-Yong is accused of corruption during his effective leadership in the company. And this is why the South Korean District Court issued an arrest warrant last week.
Jae-Yong was interrogated on last Friday for 24 hours in Seoul, South Korea as part of investigations of a scandal that led to the impeachment of the president Park Geun-Hye. The arrest warrant was issued after following investigations and interrogations by the country’s police.
lee Jae-Yong, 48, is the son of the chairman of the largest conglomerate in South Korea. Lee is accused of providing $38 million to South Korea’s president associate, to ensure the merger of two Samsung subsidiaries and secure his control over the conglomerate.
