Last year we got to see the most controversial smartphone from Samsung yet, known as the Galaxy Note 7. Though aside from being a failure because of its battery issue the smartphone was the best looking Galaxy Note phone of that time. If you are someone who still wants to own one, well you might be in luck. Samsung was previously reported to offer a refurbished version of their Galaxy Note 7 smartphone. Which would instead be known as the Samsung Galaxy Note FE, where FE stands for Factory Edition.
Samsung has now officially announced that the new Galaxy Note FE will be made available on 7th of July. Which is a week after what reports said about its launch. Though there is one down side to it, as the smartphone will only be available to the South Korean market. Samsung will also be provided a sizable quantity of their new Galaxy Note FE smartphone as well. Where a total of 450,000 units will be available for sale. Which was increased from the initial production quantity of 150,000 according to the report.
The new Galaxy Note FE will also come with a lower $620 price tag. Though to make things more appealing the presence of Samsung’s digital assistant named Bixby will also be there. Though there is no news on when the smartphone will have support for it. In terms of specs the Samsung Galaxy Note FE will come equipped with a 5.7 inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560. The smartphone also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 802 running under the hood, with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. But according to the previous report the smartphone will be equipped with a lower 32000mAh battery instead.
There is no news on whether the smartphone will show its face in the US market. But rest assured other countries will be getting a taste of this new refreshed smartphone from Samsung.
