MWC 2017 is the witness of the smartphone featured with bezel less display in this year. The bezel less display set the trend for the smartphones of the year, but the south Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics is planning to set the future of the smartphone. The company believes the foldable smartphones will be the trend of the next year smartphone. Earlier in this year, Samsung reported to introduce a foldable smartphone in the next year.
According to the report, Koh Dong-jin, the President of mobile business at Samsung has stated that:
The company is setting its eyes on 2018 to release a phone that will feature a bendable display. Unfortunately, the delay to unveil such a device are probably manufacturing issues to the point where the tech giant will not be able to produce a large number of units without facing a continuous barrage of setbacks.
The analyst is considering the massive production of the AMOLED display will leads to establish a new form of flexible smartphones in the near future. We supposed that the Apple iPhone X with its unbeatable display and selling at high prices is turning the power of the LED display and dealing with Samsung takes a lot of time to massively production. That could be the problem for the Samsung, Koh Dong-Jin believes saying that the company is facing some issues, but he didn’t explain the issues, as he stated:
“As the head of the business, I can say our current goal is next year. When we can overcome some problems for sure, we will launch the product.”
A couple of weeks ago, Samsung Electronics registered the patents for its future smartphone X, but we are unaware of the official name of the smartphone, but the next generation smartphones will come with surprising features and latest technologies.
