Last week, at a meeting of the Society for Information Display (SID) in Los Angeles the Samsung displays a stretchable OLED displays. The 9.1 inch OLED display can be stretched about 12 mm in either direction. For last few years, many of the researchers and developers are working on the stretchable displays.
The Samsung prototype display is more useful and for all devices from glassware to in a car displays. According to the report, the users stretched the screen by pushing the slightest pressure on the screen, and when the user loose the pressure, the screen revive to the original place of the device.
The dented like a rubber balloon behind the screen give the flexibility while stretching and moves back to the original screen. According to the report, the current prototype of the Samsung display is transformed to only one side, but allows users to bend, curve and roll the screen as users desired.
In this recent conference with the stretchable displays, the Samsung also introduced the other 5.0 inch device having set of OLED along with the glass stereoscopic 3D technology. In the virtual technology an 1.96-inch 4K LCD along with the 2,250 pixels was the part of the new innovation from the Samsung.
