Samsung Galaxy introduces a set of new end-to-end 5G commercial solutions with the launch of most powerful Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. The company newly introduced commercial form product is basically featured with a 5G home router that can be used elsewhere. Samsung claims that the development of the company work hard for it and introduced a first commercial ASIC-based 5G Modems. The millimeter wave RFICs technology working allows multiple units to connect with the device.
Samsung’s new 5G product works on the principles of radio waves that allows a user to get 5G radio access network. However, its like services are already has been tested by a few companies in multiple markets around the world, but the company introduces its first time at the launch event at MWC 2018.
But the device will be distributed after the release of Galaxy Note 9. This device also supports spectrum bands on average of 6GHz. Earlier the launch, the company requested the Federal Communications Commission for the approval of the 5G access units and the device got approval on February 23, 2018. According to the report Youngky Kim, President and Head of Networks, Business at Samsung Electronics stated as:
“At MWC 2018, Samsung plans to show how our homes, cars and cities can be transformed by building user-centric 5G networks. Since the beginning of our 5G research in 2012, Samsung stood firm among industry players to trust in the potentials of the millimeter wave spectrum. Our efforts towards advancing this technology will see the light this year, making 5G a reality and opening up new territories’ possibilities for consumers, operators and enterprises.”
Samsung introduces the 5G home routers at MWC 2018, that shows that later in this year, the company will provide commercial 5G home routers and many other such devices that will boost 5G.
