Being a sports oriented smartwatch the Samsung Gear Sport can endure anything thrown at it. As the smartwarch is shock proof with MIL-STD-810G standard. That alongside the water resistance rating of 5 atmosphere, offers the most durable smartwatch you can get your hands on. Aside from that the Samsung Gear Sport also comes with a dedicated Speedo On app, which should help train swimmers by keeping track of things like stroke types, lap times etc.
The Samsung Gear Sport also come with a hear rate sensor. Which will be monitoring its users in both resting and exercising state, keeping a check on their vitals 24/7. Aside from that the Samsung Gear Sport can automatically detect different types of dynamic activities. Which includes walking, running, cycling or any other type of activity. Meaning users won’t need to start a specific app to monitor a specific area.
In terms of specs the Samsung Gear Sport comes equipped with a 1.2 inch Super AMOLED display. That supports a resolution of 360 x 360. While the smartwatch is being powered by a dual core processor, clocked in at 1.0GHz. That is coupled with 768MB of RAM and 4GB of on board storage. Where everything on the smartwatch is being powered by a 300mAh battery. Which is smaller than what its predecessor offered, but considering how slim the Samsung Gear Sport is. Something had to be cut down in order to achieve the new sleek design.
