It shouldn’t be a surprise by now that the upcoming Samsung flagship phone will be launched on Mobile World Congress this year. Which will include the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, both of which will get announced on 25th of February.
Samsung will be announcing both its Galaxy phones in the afternoon on Mobile World Congress. Where according to some claims the upcoming Galaxy phones will come equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, a 12MP camera on the back and a 3000mAh battery inside. Users who are interested would also be able to get their hands on one starting early March.
Samsung might also be the first to announce its flagship phone at MWC. As it’s expected to be the only company announcing its flagship phone that day. Because according to a new report both Huawei and LG might postpone its announcement due to Samsung. So that their flagship phones won’t get a direct clash with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.
Among the two companies LG would be the first to announce its phone later on. Which is expected to be an enhanced version of the current LG V30 phone. Aside from that Huawei also has a new phone up its sleeves. Though the company won’t be announcing it on Mobile World Congress. As the upcoming flagship phone the Huawei P20 will get unveiled in March or early April.
With both its competitors on a side, it looks like Samsung will be enjoying all the fame by its self. The upcoming Galaxy phones will also come with an improved design. That is expected to be slimmer compared to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The fingerprint scanner is also expected to be in the middle now instead of at the side.
