As far as the Vega generation of AMD’s graphics cards is concerned, they have been making a very slow progress in the market. The latest news about the cards shows that manufacturers may roll out laptops carrying the Radeon RX Vega 56/64 graphics cards. Scott Wasson (the owner and ex-journo of The Tech Report) spoke a bit about the latest updates from AMD as there was a silence after Raja left the company.

vega56 Do you wish to see Radeon RX Vega 56/64 graphics cards in gaming notebooks? Well your wish might be fulfilled!

In an interview with PCGamesHardware.de, Wasson said:

I can’t pre-announce products for our partners. It is possible to take a Vega 10 GPU and put it into a notebook. So we’ll have to see.

Wasson was confident that Vega 10 can be a perfect match for gaming notebooks hence spreading the market of the cards. If this turns out into a reality, one thing is for sure that these laptops will be a huge hit!
