Newer motherboards for newer processors. Recently, we discussed the Biostar’s motherboards range for other processors and now its time for Coffeelake-S. The all-new motherboard is dubbed as “Racing GT7” and you can’t really say this time that it is identical to what we were used to see in the past. For example, the Kabylake Z270 series boards, which are used as reference while speaking of the appearance of motherboards and that’s where we wanna refer too!
How is it Different?
So, here are the key differentiating points which are note worthy:
- More number of M.2 slots
- No carbon fiber on the board
- Reinforced PCIe slots
All this because of the extra real estate and off course, the iterative upgrades. Anyhow, here are the hardware specs that you would find on this board, along with the image from Videocardz:
- DDR4 RAM support up to 3866 MHz (OC)
- Realtek ALC1220 audio chipset
- Intel I219V Gigabit Ethernet
