The prototype of new Razer Valerie 3 screened laptop which was stolen from razer booth in CES2017. The company offered an award of $25000 for providing an authentic information about the laptop.
The stolen Razer valerie laptops are no more in US because in China someone put these laptop on sale on Taobao for 150000 Yuan or $22000.
In the event where companies from all around the world showcase their new innovations ‘CES’ Razer also took a part in the event and showcased their new 3 screened gaming laptop. But unfortunately the two prototype went missing from RAZER CES booth.
After the incident Razer announced the award of $25000 to anyone who can provide the information to the company who stole the prototypes.
“Our teams worked months on end to conceptualise and develop these units,” Mr Tan said in a post on his official Facebook page.
“It is cheating, and cheating doesn’t sit well with us. Anyone who would do this clearly isn’t very smart.”
A spokeswoman for the Consumer Technology Association “We express our regrets,” she said. “The security of our exhibitors, attendees and their products and materials are our highest priority.
“We use a wide variety of security measures at our show to combat theft.
“For example, we delay labour coming on the show floor until an hour after the show closes so that exhibitors have a chance to secure product before dismantling their booths.”
The headquarter of the company is in California, Razer was strated by Singaporean entrepreneur Min-Liang Tan.
The brand made a good a status in the gaming community, and the gamers all around the world showed their excitement about the device which is part of the firms Project Valerie.
