Since the RX Vega 64 chapter started, one of the most important aspects of its performance was the crypto currency mining. The all-new Radeon RX Vega family of graphics cards is AMD’s latest flagship offering with Radeon RX Vega 64 Liquid Cooled Edition being the leader of the clan. You better know the use of graphics cards except playing games and leading this race is the Ethereum mining.
Mining Through Vega
Mining is the most discussed chapter in Vega series after gaming so we have got some reports on that. If you are believing the news that said that Radeon RX Vega would be pushing 100MH/s mining Ethereum, you are being misled. A sensible man wouldn’t believe the news in the first place as it is literally impossible for a card to beat another one pushing 300% above Radeon RX 580 or GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.
RX Vega Tested
Testers have tested the Radeon RX Vega 64 Liquid Cooled Edition using the new Claymore v9.8 miner. Here are the results:
- 32.5MH/s of ETH mining
- 7700K test bed + power usage of 420W for Vega 64
- RX Vega 56 gives 30.5MH/s
