The latest news regarding the 7nm technology is the Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 845 which will be found under the hood of many of the upcoming flagship smartphone of next year. One of the smartphones getting the newest high-end chipset could be the Samsung’s next flagship model Galaxy S9! A similar kind of thing happened when the first batch of the recent release by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 835, was booked by Samsung to be placed inside its Galaxy S8 duo.

Possible Release Date Of Snapdragon 845

Though none of the companies have confirmed the release dates for SD845, still there are chances that we could see the newest SoC unveiling somewhere between February 26th to March 1st. This time frame is based on the fact that the MWC conference is happening on these dates and it’s quite a big possibility that Samsung will release its new flagship which will have the Snapdragon 845 in it.

What Else Do We Have In The 7nm Lineup?

Aside from the SD845, 7nm technology is coming to the other manufacturers as well including Huawei’s Kirin, MediaTek, and Nvidia. Though the currently used 10nm technology is not that old but the 7nm technology will change the face of the technology. Bringing more compact design to the smartphones, this smaller design will actually help to increase the overall performance up to 25-35%.
