Google announced to reveal its flagship smartphones Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 in this fall, we have heard a lot of rumors about the both devices. It was highlighted in the news and reports Google upcoming smartphone Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 are powered by Snapdragon 836 SoC. Surprisingly, the latest rumors are highlights the both of the devices are not supported by Snapdragon 836 SoC because the company is not working on the upgraded SoC.

According to the report, XDA Developers reported that the Snapdragon 836 SoC doesn’t exist at all in this time frame. The company is not currently working on new processors that are alleged to be part of Google devices. While on the other hand Qualcomm has already plans that will be executed in the fourth quarter of 2017 and first quarter of upcoming year. The company is far from the discussion on the development of the Snapdragon 836 SoC.

Last year Google Pixel devices are powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC and Snapdragon 821 SoC. Qualcomm continuing its trend developing advances chipset and processors for the smartphone manufacturers. This year SoC perform well and admired by many reviewers and analysts. Many other reports are pointing out the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 are powered by this year Snapdragon 835 SoC.

However, Pixel 2 is comes with a EdgeSense style frame while Pixel XL 2 will be featured with a bezel-less 18:9 display. Both of the devices is powered with android 8.0.1 Oreo and   expected to launch on October 5. Pixel 2 is featured with 64GB and 128GB of built-in storage capacity. The smartphone are expected to come with 4GB of RAM.

Pixel 2 is featured with ‘Always On’ display mode. Other specifications includes support for NFC, Bluetooth, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. The devices are missing with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
