If you just bought a brand new iPhone 7, you should consider checking your phone camera first because a lot of users are reporting a problem about their iPhone camera which cannot be fixed only if it get replaced.

The problem seems to be related to the phone’s camera hardware. In a thread on Reddit entitled iPhone 7 Plus Cameras are Dying, Redditor teryakiwok posts:

The issue is by all accounts related with the iPhone’s camera hardware.  Reddit user teryakiwok wrote entitled “iPhone 7 Plus Cameras are Dying“,

“My new iPhone 7 Plus camera went AWOL today and a quick Twitter / Google search confirmed I’m not the only one. I opened up the camera app only to be met with a black image preview, sometimes I can get an image however it’s either tinted green or purple and was once accompanied by a screen stating ‘Emergency iPhone needs to cool down’ when the handset wasn’t even slightly warm. I’ve tried hard reset and factory restore to no avail, however I’ve been in contact with other users with the same problem and apple had to replace their phones due to a ‘hardware fault’. So if you’re met with the same issue take it back for a replacement 🙂 “

Apple is evidently offering to repair or replace such iPhone’s, so don’t worry about it, if your 7 Plus camera begins to freak out, simply get it to the closest Apple Store and it’ll be dealt with immediately. It is believable that this problem is only affecting a little batch of devices.
