Oculus has become one of the most popular applications of Virtual Reality. Last year’s release by Facebook, Oculus standalone VR headset was a big hit and this year, the company is ready to launch the Oculus Go standalone VR headset!
According to some early reports, the headset will be released in the upcoming F8 developer conference in May. Facebook reportedly terms it to be “the biggest AR / VR news from Facebook to date”.
Nothing is confirmed regarding it features but it the Oculus Go is expected to cost around $199. You can bundle up the Gear VR for an extra $129.
A Little Bit About The Oculus Go
Oculus Go will work as a standalone VR headset powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor. The build responsibility has been given to the smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi.

It wouldn’t be wrong to give this title to Oculus Go as we have seen so many of these big names involved in the preparation of it. Xiaomi seems to have become Oculus’ mainstream hardware partner and especially for the Oculus Go VR headset.
