If you feel like keeping up with your 32-bit machine, you might need to think again, at least in the case of devices equipped with NVIDIA’s hardware. The graphics card manufacturing company has now planned to end the GPU driver support for old-school 32-bit operating systems.
If you are using a 32-bit version of any of these Operating Systems, it’s time to upgrade it:
- Microsoft Windows 7
- Windows 8/8.1
- Windows 10
One favor that NVIDIA has still open for its users is that the owners of these 32-bit operating systems will still have access to critical security updates until January 2019. So you have got plenty of time to reconsider the fact that how long you can go with your 32-bit OS! The driver support program includes ‘GeForce Experience software’ too.
Moreover, the current features and services in the software including the optimal game settings will remain the same so you don’t need to worry about that. This won’t have a drastic effect on the modern day users as there are very fewer chances of someone using a 32-bit OS with Nvidia’s hardware installed inside!
