Smartphones Tablet released few years is set to receive security and safety updates With Android Nougat 7 ” While other smartphone manufacturers are currently providing the Android 7.0 Nougat available for its older devices.

Google is already a step ahead and they confirmed to release the latest beta updates Android 7.1.2. which will be available for Pixel, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, pixel XL, Nexus Player and pixel C.

According to Google Android 7.1.2 continue incremental updates which clarify and focus on improvement for operator and user.In a blog post-Android lead developer Dave Burke proclaims the first beta version of Android 7.1.2. He does not mention the specific details and feature of the new version but only speaks of general optimizations and minor improvements for users and network providers.

According to Arstechnica the  Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will not receive the updates anymore, both devices should receive the monthly security updates until the expiry of their support.
