You all know about the Nintendo Creators Program that lets channels generate some revenue from sharing their live gaming sessions on YouTube. Don’t you? Well, it’s time to say goodbye to the YouTube live streaming option as Nintendo has decided to end it. The console’s relation with all the online video sharing platforms has never been a promising one and this end of YouTube live stream session is a part of that.

In the FAQ section of Nintendo Creators Program, a new note has been added saying:

Live streaming on YouTube falls outside the scope of the Nintendo Creators Program. You cannot broadcast content on YouTube Live from the account you have registered to the Nintendo Creators Program.

One Way Out

If you can leave the revenue generating cycle and just for helping others who are stuck in a game or want a demo of how pros play, there is one way out. If you surrender the participation in the revenue-sharing program, you can share it on a separate YouTube channel.
