While Nintendo is achieving so many other landmarks with respect to its Switch gaming console, the company has just released their results for the first quarter of the 2018 fiscal year and it looks like they have hit another record.
In total, Nintendo has sold as much as 20 million units for the Nintendo Switch and the first quarter of the 2018 fiscal year come in at 19.67 million units, just pushing on the verge of the 20 million mark.
Interestingly, Nintendo Switch is closing in on the total sales for the Nintendo GameCube which only sold 21.74 million units. Not only this, Nintendo has some even better future plans as there are plenty of Switch based anticipated titles lined up for the next 3-4 months including Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Analysts are confident that these upcoming super hit titles will also increase the Nintendo Switch sales worldwide. Here are a few figures for comparison:
