Nintendo announced that it will follow Sony and Microsoft to launch online service for the Switch. Although its a bit late for Nintendo to announced the Online service for the new console. The online service for the Switch will launch in 2018 as Nintendo Switch Online. Nintendo Online switch will allow online multiplayer to connect via a smartphone app and unlimited access to classic games from Nintendo.
This paid service lets Nintendo Switch owners enjoy online multiplayer gaming as well as a dedicated smartphone app that connects to your Nintendo Switch system and helps you connect with friends for online play sessions.
The Nintendo Switch Online paid services will cost 19.99$ per year. If a user doesn’t want to pay annually you can pay 3.99 $ monthly or 7.99$ per quarter.
Comparing the services that are provided by Sony and as Microsoft, there is a big difference in prices and privileges. The Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus cost $60 per year.
The Nintendo will offer a compilation of Classic Game Selections with additional online features, including games such as Super Mario Bros. 3 Balloon Fight and Dr. Mario. The classic games are only available to users with an active subscription.
The mobile apps feature voice chat should be available for both iOS and Android devices. The free version of the app will be released in summer 2017. Nintendo active subscribers can access eShop special offers, including discounts on selected digital games and DLC.
