Nintendo Switch has become more feasible to be used after its app became available on Google Play Store and Android App Store. The app can perform many features including social connectivity for multiplayer games like Splatoon 2. Through the app, you can voice chat with your friends and see your friends’ list who are using the app.
To use the voice chat feature, your phone needs to be unlocked and the app must be running. So basically, if you want to keep on chatting with your friends, it’s impossible to do that if you have a habit of keeping your screen off while talking normally like on a call. So this feature costs you a lot of your battery as you have to keep your screen on all the time without switching into another app.
The Only Advantage
If you ask me for its only advantage, it’s the chat feature in those games which do not have the inbuilt one. As an example, take Splatoon 2, which comes without this feature so if you are playing the game and want to chat with the other players, installing this app is a good idea.
Talking a bit more about the Splatoon 2 game, it is going pretty well with 8/10 rating on GameSpot. The game is rolling out tomorrow and Kallie Plagge has something to say about it:
All the small changes and even the bigger ones in single player and League Battles make for a fresh take on the already unique shooter. If you played a lot of the original, the sequel has enough to keep you coming back, and if you’re new to the game, it’s a fantastic place to jump in.
