2017 seem to be a year of leaks and rumors. Yesterday various documents were leaked of the upcoming Nintendo switch revealing the alleged specifications of Switch.
However, we are just weeks away from the launch of Nintendo Switch, yet some information about the CPU, GPU were posted on Reddit community.
A user on Reddit user published several documents with a complete overview of switch specifications.
The document shows that the Nintendo Switch is powered with Nvidia (Tegra X1) SOC with four ARM Cortex-A57 cores at a maximum clock speed of 2GHz. The GPU is based on the Maxwell architecture and features 256 CUDA cores at a maximum speed of 1GHz. This information does not match to a report from Eurogamer, claiming that the CPU would clock at 1GHz, while the GPU would be clocked at 768MHz instead of a 1GHz.
Nintendo Switch features 4GB ram, shared with VRAM. Games provide on ROM cartridge and 32GB of Internal Memory storage, which can be expanded via Micro SD Card. Game cards come in 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, or 32 GB of size.
The Nintendo Switch display consists of an IPS LCD 6.2 inch “which provide a resolution of 1280×720.
Nintendo Switch is expected to release on March 3, 2017, which will cost around $244.
