New rumors on next upcoming Assassins Creed game are out and it is set to return this holiday. E3 is looming very very fast on Horizon meaning that there’s not going to be too long before we find out whether or not it is indeed returning. A lot of the rumors have been focused around the Knicks game being set in Egypt and going by the working title “Assassins Creed Empire“.
The rumor came from Kataku but now these new rumors thanks to WWG. Apparently their sources say that the game is actually called Assasin’s Creed Origins and is actually exited to be revealed at E3 2017. However, despite the change in name there rumors are still saying that the game is going to be taking place in ancient Egypt and as the name would suggest it’s going to be prequel of sorts. It’s rumored to center around the original Assassins’ Guild and it’s going to be doing the same thing as Syndicate by having two main characters a man and a women. The rumors are also saying there’s going to be an open-world which we already know. However, the details are coming from unknown sources.
Assassins Creed has kind of gotten quite stale recently and several people at Ubisoft have spoken on how they are hoping to change this (methods changing and storytelling) and how they deal with the world and game-play and so on. Apparently there’s going to be a character progression system this time around that it’s going to be a lot less tied to the story which is pretty interesting.
Apparently there’s going to be also a greater emphasis on exploration and it’s also going to be apparently the biggest Assassins Creed game ever created. One last thing is that the game is set in ancient Egypt it can able to go beyond the borders of Egypt possibly even as far as Greece and finally boats are going to be returning and we will see a return of that awesome naval combat.
