There were a lot of rumors regarding Motorola recently. Where the company was rumored to not launch a squeal to its Motorola Moto Z smartphone this year. Instead we got to hear that two new variants will be offered in the Moto Z2 family. Which will include Motorola Moto Z2 Force and the Moto Z2 Play. But it looks like Motorola might be coming up with their Motorola Moto Z2 smartphone after all. As the smartphone was recently spotted on GFXBench.
In terms of specs on GFXBench the Motorola Moto Z2 comes equipped with a 5.5 inch display. That will support a resolution of 1440 x 2560. There will also be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 running under the hood. Which is basically an octa core processor based on a 10nm manufacturing process. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 runs all its eight cores with a locked frequency of 2.4GHz. That is also coupled with an Adreno 540 GPU. Aside from that there would also be 4GB of RAM and 64GB of non-expandable storage. Other specs also include a 12MP camera on the back. While a 5MP front camera would also be present.
There is no news on what specs the upcoming Motorola Moto Z2 Force would have. But the budget friendly Motorola Moto Z2 Play do seems to come with some interesting specs. Where the smartphone comes equipped with a 5.5 inch AMOLED display. That supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080. There is also the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chip running under the hood. The smartphone also comes in two flavors depending on the RAM. Where users can either go for a 3 GB version or a 4 GB version. While in terms of storage the phone also comes equipped with 32 GB or 64 GB of expandable storage via microSD card. There is also a 12 MP camera on the back with a 5 MP camera at the front of the device. Where to power it all a 3000 mAh battery is present
Motorola is holding an event on this coming June 30th. Where we will finally get to know about its upcoming line of smartphones.
