The Minecraft: Dungeons title was announced at this year’s Minecon. Mojang announced the brand-new spin-off adventure game and the analysts think of it as a voxel-style Diablo.

 About the Game

As expected, the gamers will blast through dungeons in the search for epic loot, and we should expect classes and some sort of adventure-style storyline too. Also, the game is expected to come along with partial microtransactions. Mans Olson, game director of Minecraft Dungeons says:

This is a brand-new game from Mojang. It’s a re-imagining of Minecraft as a completely different experience.

Mojang’s Tom Stone says:

What exactly is Minecraft: Dungeons? It’s an all-new action-adventure game inspired by classic dungeon crawlers, where you’ll constantly discover new weapons and items that will help you defeat a ruthless swarm of new-and-nasty mobs. You’ll fight or flee through canyons, swamps and – of course – mines!

You can brave the dungeons alone, or team up with friends. Up to four players can battle together through action-packed, treasure-stuffed, wildly varied levels, all in an epic quest to save the villagers and take down the evil Arch-Illager!

Here’s a go through of Mojang’s dev-team views about the new game:
