Microsoft announced the launch of its latest Surface Pro tablet device in Indian markets. The company claims the Surface Pro is a most versatile laptop. The device is powered with a long lasting battery life that is up to 13.5 hours on a single full charge. However, the company officially launched its Pro version last year, but it will hands on in Indian market in this month. The Pro tablet device features with Microsoft Windows 10.
The company launch multiple versions with respect to specifications, including processors, SSD and internal storage capacity. The cheapest version is available for Rs. 64,999 and the more powerful version features with Intel Core i7 processor, 512GB SSD, 16GB of RAM, and Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 is available for Rs. 1,82,999.
Other specifications include the Surface Pro Type Cover, Signature Type Cover, Surface Pen, and Surface Arc Mouse. According to the report, Vineet Durani, Director of Windows and Devices, Microsoft India stated as:
“We are delighted to announce the launch of Surface Pro in India and offer our consumers another superior device that will enable them create, study, work and play virtually anywhere. We continue to push boundaries to better serve the needs of our customers who are seeking greater mobility and power in their devices to stay productive. The new Surface Pro delivers the versatility of a laptop and a creative studio in one thin, lightweight device.”
The Microsoft Surface Pro tablet is features with a Surface pen, supports a 12.3-inch PixelSense touch display. Surface Pro tablet base version for India has 8.5mm and a weight of 767 grams. The device also supports for Office 365.
Moreover, the device is features with a 8MP back camera and 5MP front camera. The device is available at Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, and other retailers in India.
