Hideo Kojima is back in the game with Konami’s brand new production, ‘Metal Gear Survive’ which entered open beta last week. Though Konami had difficult times after facing a band from PSN for P.T., still the game’s creator is confident enough for a comeback. Metal Gear Survive has so much to offer including great mechanics and other attractive stuff. Following the traditions, Konami has added gameplay-affecting microtransactions and constant online connectivity features in the game.

When is it Coming?

Those who got excited just after the game’s first look will have to wait till next month, which isn’t far away actually. This game would actually be a test for Konami as Kojima is playing from Konami’s side after a long time. As a basic requirement of the game, you’ll need to stay connected to the internet for both multiplayer and singleplayer mode. In an interview with Gamespot, Konami presented the idea behind the game:

Metal Gear Survive’s online connectivity requirements were built to support a seamless integration between single player and co-op. This will also enable us to provide ongoing content post-launch.

Konami has announced the release date of Metal Gear Survive for the North American region and that is February 20th. Japan will get the game on February 21st and on the next day, February 22nd, rest of the world will get its hands on the game for all the platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
