Those who got their hands on the LG G6 must be aware of what the phone is capable of. The flagship powerhouse from LG was welcomed by a huge number of LG fans and even it can give a head to head competition to one of its biggest rivals, the Samsung Galaxy S8. Well, it now appears that LG may be backing up for a somewhat smaller variant of the same phone.
A Smaller Display
By ‘Smaller Variant,’ we mean a somehow similar specs carrier except for the display size. The original one, which was recently released, came out with a 5.7-inch screen which may feel like a bit gigantic for some of the users. So, a more practical and easy to handle version of the same phone with almost 5.4-inch screen is expected to launch in the near future.
The news broke out when TechnoBuffalo first covered it, starting many gossips around the LG fans circle. TechnoBuffalo reported this news even before the launch of LG G6 and rumors were there that LG will release both the variants side by side. As we all know that LG hasn’t released any other variant of LG G6 by now, this news may not be anything more than just a rumor.
Well, to keep your excitement level a bit high, some of the other forums express the fact that still, there are chances for the company to release the smaller variant keeping the same 18:9 aspect ratio and only decreasing the screen size. It’s obvious that the ‘Mini’ version will be a bit less powerful lacking a bit on grounds where G6 flies out with maximum rates of performance.
LG Might Make Full Use Of The Latest Technology
At the time of the release of LG G6, the company couldn’t install the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 in its chassis because of the Samsung’s hold over the first batch of the powerful processors. But now, when the S8 duo is released and selling like hot cakes, it is very much obvious that the ‘Mini’ version of LG G6 can flaunt the better processor than the LG G6’s original Snapdragon 821.
