The LG V30 smartphone is finally here with everything that you ever hoped it to be. Which offers a new OLED panel this time around by ditching the LCD panel found on the LG G6. Which should offer better and vibrant picture quality, while also draining less power. But when it comes to the design of the smartphone, it’s a far better one than what LG came up with last year. Which now includes an almost similar design to the Galaxy S8. But with slightly less aggressive curves on the side of the smartphone. With a polished metal and glass finish.
The LG V30 is a premium smartphone from LG and it does show from both the high end specs and the top notch build quality. That greets its user with a 6 inch OLED panel. That supports a resolution of 2880 x 1440. There is also the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 running under the hood. Coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of on board expandable storage. While other features include USB Type C, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, that comes bundled with a pair of B&O earphones.
Just like its predecessor the LG V30 also comes equipped with a dual camera setup. Which alongside the main 16MP IOS sensor also features a 13MP super wide angle lens at 120 degrees field of view. While the front of the device users would find a 5MP camera. Where everything on the new LG V30 is powered by a 3300mAh battery inside.
The LG V30 for now will come shipped with Android 7.1.2 out of the box. But LG is promising to update the device to Android Oreo 8.0 later this year. Users who are interested can get their hand on the new LG V30 starting the 21st of September. Though there is no news regarding what the price would be for the smartphone yet.
